ABOUT

b. 1987

I grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin and attended the Violin Repair program taught by Lisbeth Nelson-Butler in Red Wing, Minnesota. After I received my diploma I headed south to Houston, Texas where I got my first job working for Lisle Violin Shop.

Much of my time there was spent setting up new student instruments and I developed a solid, high-level set-up for violin, viola and cello. As I progressed, Dorian Barnes and Wen-Hua Wu worked along side me teaching me the nuances of professional set-ups and difficult repairs.

On two separate occasions I had the opportunity to work with gold medal maker Raymond Schryer, making a scroll and a Strad model violin body. I am very appreciative of my time working with him and my violin making has fundamentally benefited from his instructions.

After nearly four years in Houston, it was time to get back closer family and the North Woods of Wisconsin. I started Fallon Violin Workshop LLC in 2015, and work out of my home, focusing my time on new making, repairs and rentals.

I currently reside in Delafield, Wisconsin with my beautiful wife Mikalah and our dog Coda.
